Luxembourg Creative Lab is proud to announce the successful completion of the CRAFT3D Mentorship Programme, which constitutes essential part of our Erasmus+ co-funded project ‘CRAFT3D – Enhancing traditional craft practices 3D printing and technology through innovation’ (Project N°: 2023-1-IT01-KA220-VET-000154806). Thanks to the dedication and collaboration of our incredible partners! 

The mentorship initiative, part of the CRAFT3D Erasmus+ project, bridged the gap between traditional woodcraft and cutting-edge 3D printing, creating a unique space for mutual learning and innovation.

What we achieved together:

10+ hands-on mentorships connecting woodcraft artisans, carpenters, and 3D printing experts

Practical experience through Work-Based Learning

A powerful exchange: digital upskilling for artisans, and a deeper appreciation of craftsmanship for tech mentors

Use of modern tools like Fusion 360, Rhino, and wood-infused filaments to digitally replicate intricate woodworking traditions

This programme didn’t just teach tools — it reshaped the future of the wood manufacturing sector, empowering professionals to integrate technology without losing the soul of their craft.
