Green Horizons: Exciting Progress in Environmental Education Project Update

At Luxembourg Creative Lab, we are thrilled to share the latest developments in the Erasmus+ co-funded project Green Horizons: Leading the Way in Environmental Service Learning (Project Number: 2024-1-LU01-KA210-VET-000243985). This initiative, aimed at fostering sustainability in education, continues to make significant strides toward equipping educators with the tools and knowledge needed to create impactful learning experiences.

Together with our partner, Частно основно училище и профилирана гимназия “Образователни технологии” (EduTech School), we have been actively working on Sustainable Learning Journeys, a comprehensive handbook developed as part of Activity 2 of the project. This resource is designed to support teachers in both schools and vocational education and training (VET) settings, helping them implement meaningful and inclusive sustainability initiatives.

Rooted in the principles of Service-Based Learning (SBL) and aligned with the GreenComp framework, the handbook provides educators with practical methodologies, guidelines, and real-world applications to address environmental challenges. By integrating sustainability into curricula and promoting active student engagement, we aim to inspire a new generation of environmentally conscious learners and changemakers.

This milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to promote sustainability education. Stay tuned for further updates on the handbook’s release and its impact on educators across Europe!
