Green Horizons: Launch of Project Website
We are excited to announce the launch of the official website for our new project, Green Horizons: Leading the Way in Environmental Service Learning, as part of the ongoing development of Activity 1. This website was designed and created with sustainability at its core, incorporating the latest eco-friendly and energy-efficient web solutions. Its stylish design, coupled with a user-friendly interface, makes navigating the site smooth and efficient, allowing visitors to access information effortlessly.
The website reflects our commitment to sustainability, not just in the content we present, but also in how we present it. From fast load times to the optimized use of resources, every aspect of the site has been crafted to minimize its environmental impact, setting a new standard for eco-conscious digital platforms.
About the Green Horizons Project
Luxembourg Creative Lab (LCL) is proud to serve as the coordinator for the Green Horizons project, co-funded under the Erasmus+ Small Scale Partnership (2024-1-LU01-KA210-VET-000243985). This initiative, which began on September 1, 2024, is set to run for one year and is a significant step forward in our mission to advance sustainability within the cultural and creative sectors (CCS).
The project addresses a critical gap in how trainers within CCS approach sustainability education. Through Green Horizons, we aim to create systematic training resources, empowering educators and trainers with the tools and skills needed to implement service-based learning (SBL), a method we believe will be pivotal in combating climate change.
We are also collaborating with High School ‘Educational Technologies’ (Bulgaria), a partner equally committed to fostering green awareness among students. Together, we will develop comprehensive educational materials, pilot green initiatives, and promote collaboration across the educational and cultural sectors.
Benefits of the Project
For LCL, the project will enable the development of tailored training resources focused on climate change and SBL, while High School ‘Educational Technologies’ will enhance their environmental education curriculum through structured, action-oriented content. Both partners will benefit from the professional development of their trainers, further advancing sustainability education.
We invite you to visit our new project website (https://greenhorizons-erasmus.com/) to learn more about Green Horizons and the exciting initiatives we are working on. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward in this impactful journey!
