Green Horizons: Scope of Sustainable Education Handbook
We at Luxembourg Creative Lab (LCL) are proud to play a key role in the development of The Guiding Lights: Defining the Purpose and Scope of Sustainable Education Handbook – a pivotal document within the Green Horizons Erasmus+ co-funded project (Project Number: 2024-1-LU01-KA210-VET-000243985). @anefore_luxembourg
This strategic guide lays the groundwork for the creation of a comprehensive Handbook for Teachers, empowering educators to effectively integrate sustainability and Service-Based Learning (SBL) into their teaching practices.
As a leading partner in this initiative, LCL is driving efforts to:
Define the Purpose & Scope: Ensuring the Handbook aligns with the outcomes of the project’s first activity and follows the principles of GreenComp – The European Sustainability Competence Framework.
Shape Key Focus Areas: Developing strategies to integrate climate change education, design impactful SBL initiatives, and align teaching practices with GreenComp competencies.
Support Schools & VET Settings: Crafting practical solutions to meet the unique challenges of creative-centered training and vocational education.
Our role as a strategic partner ensures that Guiding Lights will become a practical and effective tool for teachers, enabling them to inspire and equip students to become environmentally conscious professionals.
We are excited to collaborate with our partners, the Private Profiled High School Educational Technologies, to bring this ambitious vision to life.
At LCL, we are committed to shaping innovative educational resources that support sustainable development across Luxembourg and the wider EU.
