DeepTech: Multilingual Milestone for Ethical AI Training

Luxembourg Creative Lab is proud to mark a significant milestone in the Erasmus+ co-funded project “DeepTech for Creative Trust: Countering Deepfakes and Enabling Ethical AI in the Audio-Visual Industry.” With the full translation of the training programme “Ethical AI for Creative Trust” into French, German, and Bulgarian, the project takes a decisive step toward making high-quality, future-oriented education accessible across linguistic and cultural boundaries in Europe.

This achievement is more than a technical completion—it reflects a clear commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and meaningful knowledge transfer. By ensuring that creative professionals, educators, media practitioners, and learners can engage with the material in their native languages, the programme strengthens both comprehension and participation. In a rapidly evolving digital landscape shaped by artificial intelligence, accessibility is not a luxury but a necessity for building informed and resilient communities.

At the heart of the programme lies a carefully designed curriculum that addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing the creative and audio-visual sectors today. Participants are guided through the foundations of deepfake technologies and generative AI, gaining insight into how such tools are created and deployed. From there, the training moves into practical competences—equipping learners with techniques to detect and verify manipulated audio-visual content, a skill that is becoming increasingly vital in an era of widespread misinformation.

The programme also explores the broader ethical, legal, and copyright implications of AI, encouraging critical reflection on responsibility and accountability in digital creation. Through applied modules, participants engage with real-world workflows and hands-on verification techniques, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Ultimately, the training aims to restore trust and transparency in digital media by empowering professionals to use AI in ways that are both innovative and ethically grounded.

The multilingual expansion of the programme amplifies its impact. It enables broader participation across Europe, supports equal access to cutting-edge knowledge, and contributes to the professional empowerment of individuals working in diverse contexts. By lowering language barriers, the project fosters a more inclusive learning environment—one that strengthens collective resilience against misinformation while promoting the responsible adoption of AI technologies.

This milestone has been made possible through the strong collaboration of the project’s consortium partners. Luxembourg Creative Lab leads the initiative with a focus on innovation in creative education and strategic project coordination. XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences brings academic excellence and deep expertise in artificial intelligence, ethics, and digital transformation. Budakov Films Ltd contributes valuable industry insight, grounding the programme in the practical realities of the audio-visual and film production sector.

Together, the partners are shaping a forward-looking vision for the creative industries—one where technological advancement goes hand in hand with ethical responsibility. By investing in education, accessibility, and cross-border collaboration, the DeepTech project is helping to build a more transparent, trustworthy, and human-centered digital future, where AI enhances creativity without compromising fundamental values.
