UNITED: Excellent Mark from the German National Agency

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our Erasmus+ project, ‘UNITED: Inclusion and Diversity of Learners with Diverse Backgrounds (2022-2-DE02-KA210-VET-000092335)’, co-funded by the European Union. Led by the esteemed XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences, Germany, in collaboration with Luxembourg Creative Lab, this project has received exceptional recognition from the German National Agency, marking a significant achievement in our journey towards fostering inclusion and diversity in education.

At the core of the ‘UNITED’ project was a steadfast commitment to promoting European values of inclusion and diversity within our partnering organizations. Our primary objective was to cultivate a sustainable culture where individuals from diverse backgrounds could collaborate, thrive, and express themselves confidently. Through education and training, we aimed to equip our staff and peers with the necessary tools to champion diversity, recognize the strength in differences, and foster a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Throughout the project duration, we implemented a series of strategic activities to achieve our objectives effectively. These included:

1. Development of Diversity-Centred Learning Objectives: Before embarking on the training program, our consortium meticulously defined specific learning objectives aimed at informing learners about the expected outcomes of their educational experience. Through focus group interviews and detailed analyses, we identified the needs and priorities of our target audience, ensuring that the training program was tailored to address knowledge and skill gaps related to inclusion and diversity.

2. Development of Blended Training Program and Training: A key priority of the project was the creation of a blended training program designed to equip participants with essential soft skills for fostering inclusive environments. Leveraging hybrid training formats, we delivered high-quality education that empowered participants to create collaborative and accepting workspaces.

3. Training Program Evaluation: The evaluation of the training program was crucial in identifying potential gaps and opportunities for improvement. By assessing the quality and effectiveness of our training, we were able to ensure that the program aligned with our project goals and objectives. This process enabled us to refine our approach and enhance the impact of our educational initiatives.

The success of the ‘UNITED’ project would not have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of our partners, particularly XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Their expertise and commitment to excellence were instrumental in achieving our goals, and we are immensely grateful for their invaluable contributions.

As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in education. Through initiatives like ‘UNITED’, we aspire to create learning environments where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Erasmus Plus Program and the German National Agency for their unwavering support and recognition of our efforts. Together, we will continue to champion diversity, inclusion, and excellence in education, shaping a brighter and more inclusive future for all.
